NLC students' work at Mountain View College

Ten works of art and photography have been selected from North Lake College students for the League for Innovation exhibition at Mountain View College.


Each of the District colleges submitted 10 pieces for display and competition.  The winners will represent the District in the national League for Innovation competition.


The exhibition will run through Feb. 12 in MVC’s Kiva Gallery and the North Bridge. A reception will be held Feb. 5, at 7:30 pm.


Featured artists are: Alena Reindl,  (untitled), burnished and smoke-fired clay; Leann Boyce, “Nigerian Trio 2009,” burnished and smoke-fired clay; Elizabeth Giron, “Case #3340,” mixed media; Nathan Graves, “Ichigo Steamroller,” acrylic on canvas, and Junko Otsu, “Pop Goes the Music 2,” acrylic on canvas.
