State representative visits North Lake

Republican Linda Harper-Brown is a Texas House Representative for District 105. Harper-Brown is running as an incumbent for another two-year term as state representative in 2011.  The student body was fortunate to have her come and speak to us on March 2, also known as Texas Independence Day, all thanks to government faculty Dr. Gabriel Bach.  It was especially kind of Harper-Brown to pay NLC a visit during primary voting. The students who were lucky enough to hear her speak also had the opportunity to ask her questions. She is a great speaker and does well with a crowd, so most students were  impressed with her respectful and timely answers to them concerning the issues.
