Long-time North Lake College adjunct faculty member, Justino Navarro, was known for his smile, poetry, kindness and dedication.
The 84-year-old Spanish instructor, who was born in Cabanatuan, Phillippines, passed away Jan. 17, following a stroke he suffered on New Year’s Eve.
Survivors include three sons: Marcos Navarro and wife, Angela; Carlos Navarro and wife, Karen; and Raul Navarro; daughter, Vera Fischer and husband, Anthony; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 4 sisters, Corazon, Estelita, Eva and Belen.
Services were held Jan. 21 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Dallas.
