Experience trumps a degree

So much emphasis is put on a piece of paper; er, I mean college degree. My parents have pushed me since I started college to finish in four years and get out and start in the real world. Sorry, Mom and Dad, that’s not the path I want to travel. I do believe college is important, I just don’t think a $30,000 piece of paper that’s going to end up at the bottom of a box in a few years should determine whether you’re suitable to work in the real world or not. Cougars uncaged

A trend that is spiraling upward in this nation is the cougar and cub relationship.  I define a cougar as a woman who is above 35 years old and still has it going on, and a cub who is her counterpart being anywhere from 15 to 20 years younger.  This unity between the young and those who act far younger than they are is amazing.
